Nature Environment of the Doñana

The Nature Park Doñana is a space where you will find pine tree forests, marshlands more or less transformed and stretches of inlets and spouts of the Guadalquivir River which in the past flooded the marshlands. The Nature Park is outside the boarders of the National Park Doñana – the biggest ecological reserve in Europe, of universal fame, with a great extension of marshlands which are home to numerous species of aquatic birds in winter and which reach each year approximately 200,000 individuals and share the habitat with a variety of animals and vegetation. Both parks form the “Nature Environment of Doñana”.
