  • Bda De Pescadores - Lepe (La Antilla)
The origins of the Barriada de Pescadores district go back to the end of the 19th century with the expansion of the art of the dragnet, a very heavy art involving over a hundred fathoms' length of net which needed the strength of some 40 people to pull it out of the water, when the western area of La Antilla beach was settled by a group of Portuguese fishermen who came from the Algarve and Alentejo regions and were known as "playeros" or beach men. Times of mass: Saturdays 9 p.m. Sundays and holidays 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 9 p.m.
